Dr. James takes into account the preferences of the patient when prescribing medication, including any undesirable side effects, current life stressors, and the potential for combining therapy and medication synergistically. He truly believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treating mental health issues and bases every step of his treatment plan on the patient he’s working with and what is best for them.
We offer supportive therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as these methods have been heavily researched and found to be very effective for a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and many more.
